House fire in Maywood, 1-25-17

On January 25th, 2017, I arrived at 1st and Madison in Maywood, IL. The incident was already over by the time I got there, but I managed to catch a glimpse of Maywood's brand new engine as well as the newer Bellwood TL. It was a great opportunity to get some photos of these units up close.

I always enjoy capturing moments like this. It’s interesting to see how different departments operate and what kind of equipment they use. Maywood’s new engine looked sharp, and it was cool to see the Bellwood truck as well. These photos give a good sense of the scene and the work that goes on behind the scenes.
