Violators, including design units found in breach of these regulations, may face fines ranging from 100,000 to 300,000 yuan. In addition, if such violations result in damage or loss, the responsible parties will be legally required to compensate for any damages incurred. Meanwhile, construction units found in violation could be fined between 2% and 4% of the total contract value. These strict measures aim to promote water conservation and ensure sustainable urban development in Beijing.
