China's first 2800 kW planetary gear reducer has recently passed the on-site appraisal organized by the China Coal Industry Association in its application unit, Hebei Jinniu Energy Co., Ltd. Cement Plant. The reducer was jointly developed by the Shanghai Branch of the Coal Research Institute and the Suzhou Metallurgical Machinery Factory of Baosteel Group. It is also the largest planetary gear reducer used by China in the building materials and metallurgical industries.
In September 2004, the reducer was applied in the main drive system of No. 1 cement mill of Hebei Jinniu Energy Cement Factory. At present, it has been running for 7500 hours, the whole machine runs smoothly, and the technical parameters such as noise, vibration and temperature rise meet the design requirements. Experts believe that the reducer can be officially promoted to the market.
