Brother Industries introduces a small machining center that increases the speed of deep hole processing

Brother Industries has started to sell the new model "CTS Specifications" for the "CNC Tapping Center" series of small machining centers, such as punching machines. This model is based on the same series of products "TC-31B". Added Coolant Through Spindle (CTS) functionality. The CTS has the function of supplying coolant from the center of the tool. This makes it possible to increase the processing speed of the deep hole.
The TC-31B, which was launched in November 2006, is a column-moving MC for small parts such as PC hard disks (HDD). The program processing speed is improved by the NC control unit "CNC-B00" developed by the company. Its characteristics are: compared with the previous models, shortened production time of 3 to 10%.
The rotation speed of the main shaft is 16 to 16,000 rpm and 22 to 22,000 rpm. The CTS specification product only supports the previous rotation speed. At the time of tapping, the maximum speed is 6000 rpm and 8000 rpm. In terms of rapid feed rate, X/Y/Z is 50 m/min. It can be equipped with 26 tools with a diameter of 55×200mm. Repeat positioning accuracy is ±0.003mm.

Working Principle
The material suction nozzle and the whole system of our vacuum feeder are in a vacuum state. The powdery or granular materials together with the outside air are sucked into the suction nozzle and form a material-air-flow, and are sent into the feed hopper through the material suction pipe. In the feed hopper, the air and material are separated, and the materials enter into a device that accepts materials. This feeder is equipped with a back-blow device. When feeding materials, the compressed air pulse will backflow the filter and make the powder adhered to the surface of the filter drop, so as to ensure the feeder could suck materials normally.
