New tanker for Long Grove (update)

Martin Nowak spotted the newly completed tanker for Long Grove on the Alexis website. Here are some photos from Alexis showing the new 55-foot tanker, which features an International Durastar chassis. The unit looks impressive and is expected to significantly enhance the fire protection capabilities of the Long Grove Fire Protection District. This new tanker is part of an ongoing effort to modernize and improve emergency response in the area. Previous production images can be viewed here. It’s always exciting to see how these large fire apparatuses come together, and this one seems to be a real step forward for the department.
