This afternoon, crews from Troy responded to a structure fire in the 1100 block of Harvest Drive. Upon arrival, first responders found a small fire confined to the kitchen, which was quickly brought under control within minutes. Auto-aid units from Minooka, Plainfield, Channahon, and Lockport arrived to assist with overhaul and ventilation of the home. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by Troy fire investigators.
