House fire in Shorewood, IL 7-30-24

This afternoon, Troy fire companies responded to a structure fire in the 1100 block of Harvest Drive. Upon arrival, first responders found a small fire confined to the kitchen, which was quickly extinguished within minutes. Auto-aid units from Minooka, Plainfield, Channahon, and Lockport arrived to assist with overhaul and ventilation of the home. Fortunately, no one was injured, and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation by Troy fire investigators.
