The second in a series of updates to the website has been released, highlighting recent changes and improvements to apparatus images across several departments. These updates aim to keep our resources current and provide a more accurate representation of each station's equipment and operations.
Here are the departments that have seen their apparatus images updated:
- Tinley Park – New quint added to the fleet.
- Thornton – A new engine has been introduced.
- Posen – A new squad unit is now available.
- Winfield – Partial new numbering system implemented for apparatus.
- West Chicago – New medic units added, along with some repositioning of equipment.
- Carol Stream – Updated medic units and Battalion 28 details added.
- Chicago Rescue 1 at O’Hare – Unit numbers 2-7-8 now displayed.
- Stone Park – A new ambulance has been included.
- Round Lake – Station photos 1 and 2 have been updated.
- Huntley – Station photos 1 and 2 are now available.
- Oak Park – A new ambulance has been added to the collection.
- Berwyn – A new ambulance is now visible in the database.
- Hinsdale – A new ambulance has been added for reference.
- Broadview – A new squad unit has been included.
- Downers Grove – A new battalion buggy has been introduced.
- Cicero – New shift commander car and ambulance added.
- Schaumburg – Updated ambulance images and a new engine added.
