The relevant person in charge of Guanghui Clean Energy revealed that in July of this year, the company had taken the lead in promoting the LNG heavy truck in Xinjiang and it is expected to maintain rapid development in the next few years.
In 2006, Guanghui Clean Energy undertook the scientific research project of the “Development of Special Heavy-duty LNG Carriers†of the country. The main funding for this project comes from 1.76 million yuan allocated by the state and 18 million yuan of clean energy supporting funds by Guanghui.
The company’s domestic vehicle manufacturers, gas supply system manufacturers, and experts in the LNG automotive industry passed the acceptance of the National Ministry of Science and Technology in March last year.

Currently, the two-tank LNG heavy-duty tank can inject 900 liters of LNG and can travel continuously for 800 to 1,200 kilometers, making it ideal for long-haul transportation.

At present, the competition in China's natural gas downstream market has intensified, and the automotive market has become a contestable spot. With the increase of domestic LNG receiving stations, the increase of imported gas, and the development of unconventional natural gas such as coalbed methane, more and more regions will have the conditions for the development of LNG heavy trucks.
Under this favorable stimulus, many companies have plans to build gas stations in areas where the concentration of natural gas heavy truck users is more concentrated.
