Product Details
Working Principle
As the equipment starts running, sludge flows into the filter cylinder and moves forward to the sludge cake outlet under the thrust from the screw shaft. The whole filter cylinder is composed of fixed rings, moving rings, and shaft. The first two sections are thickening zones, while the last two are dewatering zones. The space between screw blades becomes narrower, which increases inner pressure. Under this pressure, liquid is squeezed out from the sludge and leaks through the gaps between rings. The remaining dry solid is pushed to the sludge cake outlet.
