Renault Group of France announced on September 13 that in July and August this year, the Group’s global vehicle sales have increased significantly. The fastest growing market is the Americas region, and the fastest growing brand is DACIA.
According to data released by Renault Group, in July and August of this year, Renault Group's global car sales exceeded 380,000 units, an increase of 11.4% over the same period of last year.
The statistics include Renault, Dacia and Renault Samsung's three major brands of cars and trucks, trucks and other transport vehicles.
The data also showed that Renault’s sales growth in Europe was the slowest, with an increase of only 1.9%, while the increase outside of Europe reached 29.6%. The fastest-growing market is the Americas, whose sales increased 41.5% year-on-year. Among the three major brands, Dacia increased by 34.1% year-on-year, Renault Samsung rose by 12.2%, and Renault increased by 9.1%.
