Our hard chromium piston rods are manufactured using high-quality materials, such as JIS S45C, and undergo precision machining followed by a chrome plating process that achieves a surface finish of f7, with a minimum hardness of HV800. This not only enhances wear resistance but also extends the service life of the rods, offering cost savings for our customers.
The corrosion resistance of our products is tested in our own salt spray laboratory. The surface heat treatment ensures a hardness of HRC55°±2° and a hardened depth between 0.5mm - 3mm. After this, the rods go through precision milling and hard chrome plating with a thickness of 20 microns ± 10%, significantly improving their durability and performance.

Chrome Plated Steel Bars:
Our Chrome Plated Bars are produced from medium carbon cold-finished or hot rolled steel bars, typically in 1045 grades. These bars are centerless ground, polished, and chrome plated to a minimum thickness of 0.0005", and 0.001" per side. They are specifically designed for most piston rod applications in hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders.
Induction Hardened Chrome Plated Bars:
Our Induction Hardened Chrome Plated Bars are produced using advanced processing techniques on JIS S45C, SAE1045, or DIN CK45 steel rods. The process includes surface removal, polishing, induction hardening, and then hard chrome plating to a thickness of at least 0.0005" or 0.001" per side. This results in a highly impact-resistant bar suitable for high-quality piston rods that can handle tough environments.

is a cold drawn 1020 steel tube. It is produced from piercing hot rolled bar stock, and the cold drawing process improves the physical properties while reducing machine time costs. Cold drawn seamless tubing offers better uniform OD and ID, enhanced machinability, increased strength, and tighter tolerances compared to hot finished seamless products.
