The continuous exposure to liquid baths during staining and the frequent washing in the immunohistochemical (IHC) workflow, especially after antigen retrieval, can significantly increase the risk of tissue or cell loss. To address this challenge, CITOTEST® Color-PLUS™ microscope slides are coated with a permanent, specially formulated adhesive that ensures strong binding between the tissue sections and the glass surface, greatly reducing the likelihood of sample detachment. These slides are particularly useful for delicate tissues such as brain and spinal cord specimens during routine H&E staining.
