Magnetic separation-electrical combined process for seashore sand ore coarse concentrate

Beach placer reselection recovered mineral concentrate mainly iron ore is titanium, monazite, rutile and zircon. Ilmenite is the most magnetic, followed by monazite, rutile and zircon are non-magnetic minerals, and rutile is much more conductive than zircon. Therefore, when dealing with such ore, a magnetic separation-electrical selection process is generally employed.
Wuchang Titanium Ore Selection Plant is located in Hainan Province and is one of the main production mines of China's coastal sand mines. The selected process of the plant adopts a shaker to pre-select the tails, magnetically recover the ilmenite, and then electrify the group, and then separate and purify by the combined processes of strong magnetic separation, electric selection, flotation and re-election. Recover zircon, monazite, rutile, cassiterite and residual ilmenite. The selection process of the plant is shown in the figure below.

The selected indicators are: ilmenite (TiO 2 ) grade 50.40%, recovery rate 81.70%; zircon (ZrHfO 2 ) grade 65.15%, recovery rate 51.0%; rutile (TiO 2 ) grade 90.05%; monazite (TR 2 O 3 +ThO 2 ) grade 60.90%.
