The four major projects of Yuchai include gas engine engine production base construction projects, 6C diesel engine capability formation projects, state- owned diesel engine technical upgrading projects, and state-level technology center innovation capacity building projects, all of which are located in Yuchai Industrial Park.
The first phase of the gas engine engine production base construction project mainly consists of a CNG gas engine workshop with an area of ​​5,000 square meters, a heavy gas engine production workshop of 4,200 square meters, and a supporting warehouse of 13,500 square meters; at the same time, the existing workshop of Yuchai The technological transformation of equipment filling and filling is completed to form an annual production capacity of 10000 gas engines. The first phase of the project was started in November 2011 and completed in June 2013.
The 6C diesel engine capacity formation project started construction in January 2010 and was completed and put into use in June 2013. The project mainly uses the company's existing assets, through the technical transformation of the existing plant, the formation of 6C body machining production line, 6C diesel engine test line, transform the existing plant and the corresponding public facilities to meet the 6C diesel engine capacity requirements.
The state-owned diesel engine technical upgrading project started construction in August 2010 and was completed and put into use in June 2013. The project mainly utilizes the company's existing assets, and through technological transformation, it reconstructs the Yuchai Engineering Co., Ltd., the Engineering Research Institute, the Manufacturing Technology Department, the Quality Department, and the Foundry, Cold Processing Plant, Yifa Factory, Erfa Factory, Power Plant, and Equipment Factory. And purchase some of the equipment required by the four diesel engines in the production country to upgrade Yuchai’s R&D, casting, processing, testing and testing levels, and form an annual production capacity of 100,000 sets of four diesel engines.
The state-level technology center innovation capacity building project was started in 2010 and completed in June 2013. The project mainly constructs the diesel engine product design platform, establishes the analysis-driven design development process (YCEDP) and project management system, and completes the intelligent integration of R&D tools, realizes R&D planning (including DFMEA), 3D modeling, CAE virtual analysis, and design The output was docked with the SAP system and a digital process R&D system based on TENO was developed. The PDM system was fully upgraded and the R&D efficiency was improved.
The completion and production of the four major Yuchai projects will further enhance Yuchai’s engine production capacity, enhance Yuchai’s innovative capabilities and Yuchai’s product competitiveness, and increase the overall strength of Yuchai Industrial Park, making Yuchai’s leapfrog development and strengthening.
